By accessing our boutique, engaging in private consultations, or purchasing our works, you agree to be bound by these definitive Terms and Conditions.
1. The Bespoke Craftsmanship Model
Samuel & Co. operates an exclusive, inventory-free luxury model. We source loose gemstones and allocate them to our master artisans in London, Jaipur, and Hong Kong for individual casting, setting, and assembly. We do not hold mass-produced retail stock.
2. Order Acceptance and Contract Formation
When you place an order through our digital boutique or sign off on a private commission, it constitutes an offer to us to buy a bespoke item. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. A contract between you and Samuel & Co. Jewellery Limited is only formed when we send you a formal confirmation email acknowledging that production has commenced.
3. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment Processing
All retail prices displayed on our site are fully inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT), international customs import duties, raw material allocation, artisan labour, custom presentation packaging, and fully insured delivery courier charges. The price at checkout is your final total.
Secure Payments: All online transactions are routed through Stripe's encrypted payment gateway. Samuel & Co. complies fully with all strict Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Private Commissions: For fully custom pieces engineered from scratch via our private consultation system, a strict 50% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in raw materials and workshop time. The remaining 50% balance must be settled in full prior to the physical dispatch of the asset.
4. Intellectual Property
All content included on this site, including but not limited to digital sketches, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) renders, photography, text, and brand assets, is the exclusive property of Samuel & Co. Jewellery Limited and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Purchasing a piece of jewellery does not transfer the copyright or the architectural rights of the design to the buyer.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, Samuel & Co. Jewellery Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services or the purchase of our goods. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the specific item in question.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
